Hi! My name is Shayla and I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Years ago, I stepped foot into a gym for the first time, and my love for fitness began. Before that point in my life, I was overweight and unhappy, and was ready to make some changes. I hired a trainer, committed myself to fueling my body properly, and hit the gym regularly. I was even crazy enough to run in an obstacle race as a newbie! I watched not only my body change, but how I viewed myself as well.
Since that time, I’ve gone on to become a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC). I am continuously studying and expanding my expertise in the areas of bodybuilding, cardio, nutrition, and many more. It’s my passion to help women build their dream body and learn how to fuel it, and to help them see just how much they are capable of!
Oftentimes people only look at one puzzle piece instead of the entire puzzle and miss the whole picture. At Flourish Fit Co., we take everything into consideration, as we know that anything can affect everything. We take the time to ask the important questions, i.e stress, water intake, nutrition, sleep, training sessions etc… because it paints the full picture for us to understand the trends that are going on with your body. It allows us to make changes in order for you to continue progressing towards your goals.
